Cant remove empty blocks on element

Hi!
On some of the elements i have on different websites its an empty block on a element either above or below the main item that i want to have there.
As an example you can have a footer element and it looks like this (see image) https://ibb.co/5FzF941
If i remove it and save its not there but when i go out and in its still there, the result being that i get a white space with no content on plenty of pages/posts, on that specific place cause of this empty block.
How do i solve this issue?
Hi there,
open the List View in the block editor, and delete the blocks from there
