[Resolved] Cant remove date and author

Hi there,

I’ve tried remove the date and author from my posts but can;t seem to do it.

I’ve unticked display post date and author and also uploaded some plugins but they haven’t seem to work either.

Any help is appreciated.

I am using the split theme.

Hi there,

the Site uses the Header Element:

https://docs.generatepress.com/article/header-element-overview/

So in Appearance > Elements — Look for the Header Element assigned to the Posts. Edit this where you can remove the HTML line with the {{post_date}} and {{post_author}} template tags

Hey, I tried the same. But as soon as I remove {{post_date}} from the Page Hero, the post date suddenly pops up at the top of the post content. How can I prevent it from popping up there when removing it from the Hero?
