I got some malware on our site and I had Sucuri to help me clean the infected files. However now the web host have released the suspension of the site but when I try to login to wordpress I get this error text and Im not able to logon. Though maybe some one here know what to do.

    Thanks

    Carl

    Hi there,

I assume they made changes to the theme files.

    What I would do:

    1. Login to your hosting File Manager
    2. Remove the generatepress folder in wp-content/themes
    3. Login to your site and re-install GeneratePress

Let me know if that helps or not 🙂

What will happen with all the settings I have done in GP if I remove the folder? Can I replace those files after installing GP?

The settings are in the database so it will be restored once you reinstall and activate the theme.

It worked fine to delete the theme files and install generatepress again. All the settings was as before as Leo said. Thank you very much for the help.
