Can't Hide Page Titles
9 replies · Started by JOHN on January 1, 2019
I just purchased the premium theme and have been playing around with it for a few hours.
One thing I cant figure out is hiding page or posts titles.
Seems easy enough. I click the disable elements box for "content title", but it still shows up.
I am using the Catalyst site library and the page titled "Calendar of Events" is the page I've been playing around with.
Is there something I'm missing? Shouldn't the words "Calendar of Events" be gone from that blue header image when i disable content title?
Hi there,
The title is actually added within the page hero of that header element:

Let me know if this helps :)
Hello,
Yes, that works but also takes the entire blue header away too.
Is there anyway to take the just the title away and leave the header image?
Or can I just delete that element?
Thanks for you help
You would have to replace the current title content with <!--HTML comment-->.
Let me know if this helps :)
Where am I putting the "<!--HTML comment-->"
Nevermind....got it. Took out title and added <!--HTML comment-->
Works great. Thank you!
But now there is a new problem. When you take the title content out and replace with <!--HTML comment-->,
that becomes the title of the page. Probably dont want that.
I was able to get the look I wanted by using the padding feature in the edit elements box!
Thanks again. This really is a great theme once you start exploring a little bit and seeing what it can do!
So this is all resolved?
You need to make sure it's the exact format here so the content won't show in page hero:

Yes, resolved.
Awesome :)
