[Resolved] Can’t get back Read More Button on Blog

I had the Read More button and the word count until I (stupidly) chose to write an excerpt manually. I’m just starting out and really need some help! I got a fatal error in WordPress from Code Snippets. Is there something else I can try?

The Code Snippets plugin is the easiest solution unless you are already using a child theme.

Simply copy and paste the snippet and activate the snippet.

I had the same problem but I solved it with our solution. Thanks a lot.
But, there is a small issue.

I set up the Read More as button style, but when I applied your solution, just blue letter. (Read More with blue color).
If I want to change the style as button, what should I do?

Hi Geunsu,

Make sure you are using the code for read more button, not read more text.

And in the customizer > layout > blog, tick theDisplay read more as button box.
