Can't Find Some Of My GP Blog Settings

1. How do I remove the “Post Excerpt length” completely (to zero)?
Because I couldn’t find any settings that allows no-excerpt, and even when I replaced the 44 default and typed in 0 it still didn’t work, I left it blank it still didn’t work.

2. How do I access the GP page builder?

Hi there,

For #1: This only works on automatically generated excerpts. Perhaps your posts have manual excerpts?

The quickest workaround to remove excerpt is by CSS.

Try this one

.blog .entry-summary, .archive .entry-summary {
    display: none;
}

For #2:
Block Elements are the GP Page builders. You can create your content templates from Block Elements. These are created on Appearance > elements when Elements module is active on Appearance > GeneratePress.

Read more about it here - https://generatepress.com/introducing-the-gp-theme-builder/

And watch our demos on the official GP Youtube page - https://www.youtube.com/c/GeneratePress/videos

Thanks for your swift response.

Can I create/make a fresh site look using my premium GP, so that it doesn't look alike with others using the same GP??

I asked the above question because I have been touring around the settings to see the different things I could achieve with my GP but to no avail. The blog styles on GP are just too common. And am not seeing the privilege to tweak things around.

Sure you can, but it's really up to your imagination as a web designer.

GP has plenty of filters to modify things. Plus, if you've read about this - https://generatepress.com/introducing-the-gp-theme-builder/ - and watch Leo's demo videos on the official youtube channel here - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCoHk-JZFs1N-iI2DQlIKVnA - you'll have an idea of the potential it brings.

I'm not exactly sure what you're looking for with "fresh look". I can only say GP is flexible enough to be molded to almost any design using custom CSS, PHP filters and GP Elements (Block, Header, Hook and Layout Elements).

Lastly for today.

When I first bought the GP I did for the lifetime package, but surprise seeing on my account expiration date, please why?
Doesn't that mean when you add more updates, those that were the privilege of getting the onetime page will still have to pay again because it??
This is surprising to me. Or is it something to ignore?

No that shouldn't be the case.

Is the lifetime subscription associated with this account? I don't see it on this current account you're using.

For subscription concerns, you can mail it to us through - https://generatepress.com/contact/
