Hello,
I've tried the new custom html widget for my footer to display a social media icon with a link. However the image doesn't show.
This is the html code I've used: `<a href="http://www.facebook.com/pages/BuiCil-Bar-%C3%A0-Cils-Sourcils/531015836925434" target="_blank">

If I just use the image widget, then I can't add any link to it.
Here's my website http://buicil.irenepenrose.com/

Do you have a solution to it?

I'm using a child theme for the website.
Thanks for your help

Irene

I've tried to have inserted the same way with html code in other pages of the website, and I can't. I've tried the manual way (add media) and the coding way. It works only with manual way, even though the link to the image is exactly the same. I have beaver builder plugin installed.

The is the error I get when I click on the link of the broken image "The requested URL was not found on this server. The link on the referring page seems to be wrong or outdated. Please inform the author of that page about the error.
When I do view page source of this URL http://buicil.irenepenrose.com/en/test/, then this is what I see

<p><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-299" src="http://buicil.irenepenrose.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/facebook-grey.gif" alt="" width="30" height="30" /><br />

Both link to the image are the same, but one works and the other doesn't. It's very weird...

Please help.
Thanks a lot!

I tried again today and it worked. I've updated the pluggin.
Thanks for your help.

No problem :)
