can't create generateblock elements

I am a newbie and I installed GeneratePress on my WP. I see GenerateBlocks in my list of active plugins. But I don't see any way to convert my existing pages from Classic to GenerageBlocks. I don't see any ability on a page to "view blocks" or a "+" sign to add them. I must be doing something wrong. Help is appreciated.
Hi there,
if you're using WP 5.x then it includes the Block Editor.
If that is not showing then i would expect you have the Classic Editor Plugin installed or another plugin that is disabling the editor.
Let me know.
Thank you! Yes, I also had the "Classic Editor" activated in my plugins - as a newbie, I am still coming up the learning curve. I disabled it and now I am seeing the GenerateBlocks controls.
Glad to hear that :)
I came here searching for the answer too - my classic editor was showing in 'Elements' and I had disabled the classic editor plugin.
I discovered that having Divi Builder enabled also caused the same issue (just adding here in case it helps someone).
I have just one page that I originally built in Divi, so I will convert that page eventually, then I won't need to have it enabled. :)
Thanks for letting us know - i am sure others will find it useful ! :)
