hey Tom, wanted to add some sections to a page but can’t.

specifically, I click the “add section” button and nothing happens.

I have the debug plugin installed and it goes red when I click the button.

any ideas as to what could be causing this?

I’m willing to give temporary admin details just to diagnose it.

    Hi there,

That you give #1 and #2 a try on this page?: http://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/debugging/

    Thank you. I should’ve look around more.*facepalm*

Contacted the plugin author to see if it can be resolved.

On a slightly unrelated note: since I’m not versed with code, I use the page builder plugin to make some of my pages more responsive. If I enable sections then the option to use that goes away.

Any way to change this? Is this something to contact them about?

I’m afraid Page Builder isn’t compatible with our Sections add-on – the two just don’t play nice together. I don’t think it’s possible to make the Page Builder repeatable like the regular editor is (and that wasn’t easy, either haha).

Anything specific you’re trying to do in the sections? Columns? Specific widgets?

    Ah I see.

Yup, columns is the only thing I was going for.

Then this plugin is awesome (I’m biased): https://wordpress.org/plugins/lightweight-grid-columns
