Hi!
I am trying to add the top navigation bar to my website. I currently have it on one page of the site – the home page. Every time I set up a different page it looks like the menu is covered in white. I have checked the settings of the page- as I am using Elementor Premium and GP Premium. I can’t see any difference between my Home Page, and the new page settings I am trying to add. Does anyone have any advice?January 15, 2018 at 3:18 pm #471800LeoStaffCustomer SupportHi there,
You should be able to change the Primary Navigation color through the customizer: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/colors-overview/
Let me know.
January 15, 2018 at 3:47 pm #471815MeganHi Leo!
Thanks for getting back to me. I tried changing the color, but that doesn’t seem to work for the primary menu option as that is what I have selected.
Also, it is working fine on one page, but not the other.
I am not sure what other settings to try. Any help you could give would be appreciated.

This is the page that I am having trouble with—
http://themarketingcorner.com/home-improvement…rketing-services/
This is what I would like it to mimic-
http://themarketingcorner.comJanuary 15, 2018 at 10:26 pm #471914LeoStaffCustomer SupportThat can be done with our page header add-on:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/page-header-overview/Then merge with site header and navigation:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/merging-the-page-header-site-header/January 16, 2018 at 9:12 am #472375MeganTHanks Leo,
Is there anyway I can please send you my login/pw. For some reason, when I am adding the header it is changing it. The header is already on the page, there is just a white box over it, and therefore, it won’t let the image move up or show the navigation.
I would really appreciate it. I am very confused on how I was able to accomplish this for the front page of the website- themarketingcorner.com without having to do all of the merging/new header.
Thanks!
MeganJanuary 16, 2018 at 12:03 pm #472558LeoStaffCustomer SupportYou used Elementor with the following method for the front page for your site:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/merging-header-navigation-content/The page you are having trouble with is the blog page which you aren’t using Elementor (which I don’t think you can since it’s an index/archive page)
If you want a page header with the same effect on that page, you will need to create one:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/page-header-overview/Then merge:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/merging-the-page-header-site-header/Assign it to blog page:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/page-header-global-locations/Let me know if this helps.
January 16, 2018 at 1:13 pm #472633MeganHi Leo!
Thanks for the information. I understand that completely. I just can’t type in the content area of the space where you need to create a new header. It will let me name the header, but then I can’t type anything for where I need to insert the code. (Where it says HTML & Shortcodes allowed). Instead, a “background color” box pops up and it won’t let me scroll away from there. Do you have any advice for that?
Thank you!
January 16, 2018 at 4:57 pm #472807LeoStaffCustomer SupportThat doesn’t sound right.
Can you try disable non-GP premium plugins?
January 17, 2018 at 6:52 am #473268MeganI finally have figured it out. I had to reinstall the GP Premium Plug-in, and elementor pro. I am not sure where the mixup was but it wasn’t letting me type in anything into that area. I basically had to wipe everything and start over. It is fixed now. Thank you!
January 17, 2018 at 1:21 pm #473554LeoStaffCustomer SupportGlad you figured out!
