Hi,
I can't activate the modules of the theme. I checked this with the chrome developper tools and the console says:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()
Here the URL of the site:
https://hochsensibelsein.org/wP/
My host just told me, that in apache is an error:
2022-11-08 18:50:43 Error 80.29.208.147 404 POST /wP/index.php/wp-json/generatepress-pro/v1/modules?_locale=user HTTP/1.0 https://hochsensibelsein.org/wP/wp-admin/themes.php?page=generate-options
What can I do? Please help me!
Kind regards,
Anne-Barbara
Hi there,
first try going to Settings > Permalinks and clicking Save Changes, this will rebuild permalinks and give the REST API a kick. Then retry activating modules.
if the issue persists, go to Tools > Site Health and check to see if there are any Errors being reported. For example the REST API isn't loaded.
Hi David,
thank you for your reply! Permalinks didn't change anything. So I went to Site Health and there is an error reported:
REST-API-Endpunkt: https://hochsensibelsein.org/wP/index.php/wp-json/wp/v2/types/post?context=edit
REST-API-Antwort: (404) Not Found
What can I do?
Kind regards,
Anne-Barbara
In your setttings > permalinks - are you using a Custom structure ?
