what should you recommend to rectify this thing, actually the font is coming from a previously installed theme named "Porto" now I have switched to generatepress but still the font is not changing. Kindly help me out with the best possible solution.

Can you disable all plugins except GP Premium to test?

Yes, I just deactivate all the plugins except GP Premium, and now it's working fine, I can see the change in font, please check from your side also.
