Hi,
I have the following problem. There are the buttons ‘upload’ and ‘remove’. But they seem to be dead. Nothing happens if I click them.
Installed base:
+ GeneratePress 2.4.2
+ Theme Forefront 1.0.4 (switch to Theme GeneratePress 2.4.2 has no effect for the buttons)
+ WP 5.4I hope you can help me to set an new header background image to my site.
Thank you in advance.
April 16, 2020 at 3:11 pm #1242191LeoStaffCustomer SupportHi there,
Any chance you can disable all plugins except GP Premium to eliminate conflicts from other plugins first?
Let me know 🙂
April 16, 2020 at 11:40 pm #1242446ryppoHi,
no that does not help. There is another information which might help.
Some weeks ago I’ve moved the whole WordPress and Database to a different Space. This included changing the Domain. Maybe this has an effect. 😏April 17, 2020 at 9:16 am #1243194LeoStaffCustomer SupportIt shouldn’t be.
So is the media library working for you at all?
April 17, 2020 at 12:52 pm #1243434ryppoThe media library and the whole system works as expected. In the meantime I’ve delete the background customer settings using this function in the GeneratePress properties. This workaround helps me for this site.
Just for your info. This issue only appears on the webpage which I wrote to you. Another wordpress instance does not have this incident.April 17, 2020 at 1:44 pm #1243487LeoStaffCustomer SupportThis is highly unlikely a theme issue.
So it definitely doesn’t work when all plugins are disabled?
Are you using a child theme? Have you added any custom functions or modify the theme files at all?
April 17, 2020 at 2:06 pm #1243516ryppoWell, again I’ve deactivated all plugins. Additionally I’ve switched from theme ForeFront 1.04 to GeneratePress 2.4.2. Both does not help.
The only customization (if we ignore plugins) is my additional css:.widget-title { margin-bottom: 5px; padding-bottom: 2px; } .h1 { font-size: 24px; } @media screen and (max-width: 768px) { .main-title { font-size: 32px; } h1 { font-size: 24px; } h2 { font-size: 20px; } }
Additionally I’ve checked another upload feature. In customizer / website-information: Button to select header logo works fine.
April 17, 2020 at 3:00 pm #1243556LeoStaffCustomer SupportAny chance you can try reuploading the theme and premium plugin and make sure nothing is corrupted?
If that still doesn’t help, can you send me the dashboard access with all plugins disabled except GP Premium?
You can send the dashboard access using Account Issue here:
