Cannot turn off Display Date on Blog Posts

I'm new to GeneratePress and am trying to turn off the data for blog posts themselves. I've turned it off elsewhere, but the buttons don't seem to do anything.

Hi David,
Your site is using page hero to display the title and meta (author/ date/ category), you can remove the date from:
Appearance > Elements > one of the Header element which assigned to posts, delete {{post_date}} from the content field.
