Cannot rid myself of primary menu..!

Hi,
I decided to replace my front page image with a ‘featured image’, with the result that my primary menu showed OVER the new image. So then I decided to go with the secondary menu above the site itself. But when i changed the location BOTH menus still showed.
I have tried solving this with a ‘staging’ version but no luck.
Can anyone help me please?

The URL in question is in the private information box.
I have tried enabling the secondary location for the menu, and it does appear above the pic, but it also leaves the original menu across the pic. Even if i uncheck the primary box...
That is what I don’t want.
I hope you can advise.

Hi Pops,
I don't see a secondary navigation in your site, I only see a top bar at the top of the site.
If you just want the primary menu above the header, then go to:
Appearance > Customize > Layout > Primary Navigation > Navigation Location, set it to Above header.
