Scaffies
Hello,
we just switched to your theme and LOVE it!However we have one little problem:
we adjusted the primary navigation menu width for the desktop, and now found it is too wide.
But we cannot go back to the setting – now it defaults to mobile, and will show mobile, tablet, and desktop in the main window, but in the customizer window it is “stuck” in the mobile setting: it will not change to either desktop or tablet there.
Thus we cannot re-adjust the menu width.
I can provide a screenshot:

We would be very grateful.January 14, 2020 at 9:37 am #1132052Leo
StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
Sorry but not sure if I fully understand.
Which setting are you referring to specifically?
Everything looks identical when comparing to your screenshot and the live site.
Let me know π

LOL yeah but as you can see, the customizer only shows the mobile adjustment settings.
We would like to get to the desktop menu settings again, and make the menu bar less wide for smaller display screens – but the problem is, we cannot return to the Desktop settings.
Did this make it more clear, hopefully?

StaffCustomer SupportIn your previous screenshot, only the top 2 settings are for mobile:
https://www.screencast.com/t/Wb05IDIYThe rest are actually for desktop.
Does that help?

Thank you for the reply!
That is the problem – there should be the setting for menu width on the desktop – but that simply is GONE. We need it back, to adjust the width of the primary navigation (to smaller).

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperWhat if you scroll down more in the options? The menu width option is all the way at the bottom.
If it’s not there, can you make sure the “Spacing” module is activated in “Appearance > GeneratePress”?

Thank you all for your suggestions!
We found a way to fix it, by selecting “contain menu” (in the container width) … not the same setting we looked for, but it works π
