[Resolved] Cannot Remove Header Image

I have removed all background images from pages and want to remove the image from the header. I’ve tried everything but no dice, it doesn’t show an image as featuring. I can edit the title and subtitle, but not the image.

Have taken all the usual steps re clearing cache and being on latest 1.8.2 version.

Hi there,

That image is currently added in Customizer > Background Image > Header.

Can you try removing that?

And please clear and disable the caching plugin if we need to do further debugging:

I have followed Customise/Background Image/Header but once there, no image is present to be deleted.

My apologies, I have now cleared the cache and disabled WP Rocket.

I need some help please.

Hi there,

that is peculiar – can you go to Customizer > Background > Header – and add a new image to it and then remove that image. Let me know.

Hi,
I have the same problem. There are the buttons ‘upload’ and ‘remove’. But they seem to be dead. Nothing happens if I click them.
Installed base:
+ GeneratePress 2.4.2
+ Theme Forefront 1.0.4 (switch to Theme GeneratePress 2.4.2 has no effect for the buttons)
+ WP 5.4

I hope you can help me to set an new header background image to my site.
