Cannot remove excerpts in site dominated by WP Show Posts

In the Dispatch theme, the excerpts are showing on the home page and I cannot remove them. I have tried some of the previous suggestions in CSS, but it's possible the way the site is configured that it is set to always show the excerpt somewhere else. Appreciate the help since I switched the theme on the live site.

the home page is built with several WPSP Lists, you can see the list here:

You need to edit each of the WP Show Posts > Lists, and on the Content tab, set the Content Type to None.
