Cannot make left Sidebar appear in GP Premium

Hello, I've just begun to use Generate Press Premium. All is wonderful, except one thing: I've tried - using the menu of the WP dashboard - to add widgets to the left sidebar to make it appear (currently my webpage has only a body and a right sidebar). When I use the GeneratePress Customizer, there is no possibility to edit the left sidebar (there is no menu item for this).

Any help appreciated. Thank you!

Hi Alfred,

You can change the Sidebar Layout globally in Customizer > Layout > Sidebars > Sidebar Layout.

If you just want to change the sidebar layout for a single page, then you can use the Sidebar Layout metabox on the right side of Edit Page.

A beginner's mistake: I had accidentially changed the layout of my static front page which overruled the general layout settings.

Really a wonderful, easy to use and very flexible theme!
