cannot get new screenshot.png to show on child theme

So in your child theme folder, you've completely replaced screenshot.png and it's not updating in the Dashboard? All browser caches clear? That should be all you need to do.

Thanks yes I have done that but no luck :(
I have tried flushing the cache from the hosting end also. Still blank.
Tried making the size smaller and reuploading.
Tried opening on a different computer.
Always blank.

Perhaps there's an issue with it?

mmm well I hadn't thought to check it that way ;) I have tried uploading an image that works on another site too but it's also blank so maybe it's an FTP/upload issue ... thank you will try uploading a different way.
