Cannot Get Image Attributes Into Source

I cannot get image attributes such as alt/title/description into source. I am so sorry to bother you because I know that Generatepress ostensibly does not mess with the markup. It seems like such a basic *#!*** thing that it is abhorrent that Wordpress/Gutenberg has made this something that you even have to think about. Can you pretty please give me some direction? I did find a thread on the same issue and it suggests that it can be changed in the block settings but it cannot be changed in the image block settings. I really need help. I know that this is not GP's fault.....There has to be a solution!

I should add that I am new to Wordpress. I am used to Drupal which is awesome, but the dependency managers have gotten to be too much. Wordpress should be just fine. I am not a 'real' developer, but I can follow instructions and copy/paste.

Hi Kieran,

I would recommend using the image block of GenerateBlocks plugin, it offers CUSTOM ATTRIBUTES options.

The redundancy factor stinks. I already did this for 400 or so images in the Wordpress native image repository. There has to be a way to implement the native image attributes--but I do appreciate the fact that your product does what it does.

As the image block is a WP core block, GP has no control over it.

I would suggest trying the WP support, they might have a filter for it.
