Cannot find child theme via FTP

Hello!

I am trying to make a few custom tweaks that involve creating a child theme. I THINK I've created the child theme successfully - as it shows up under appearances as the selected/activated theme. But when I go back to my FTP panel, I only see the original folder. Where do I edit my new child theme style.css and functions.php?

Hi Morgan,

You can use Appearance> Theme editor to add CSS and PHP functions to your child theme.

Let me know if this helps :)

Thank you! I suppose the child theme doesn't show up as a separate folder when looking at the files via FTP?

It does show up as a separate folder called generatepress_child in the themesfolder.

Ah I see it now thank you

No problem :)
