I tried everything to change the page header on my blog post page, but it just doesn’t work.

I have found the option to add a page header to the blog page via Customize>Blog>Page Header Image.

But I am not able to add a Page Header via the “Edit Page” Menu (The premium feature for adding page headers)

I really want my blog page to match the rest of my site, that’s why i bought the premium version of generate press.

Could anyone help me please? Thanks in advance. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi Marius,

WordPress ignores all meta boxes on index pages (blog, archive etc).

Which means that you would have to make the blog page header using the options in the customizer.

The options in the customizer has all of the exact same settings as the Page Header meta box so you should be able to duplicate the page header.

This page explains it all: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/blog-page-header/

    Hope this helps!

    Hello!

Even though I inserted an image to the customize > blog > page header image, it doesn’t display on my blog page (I use a category link on the menu for this).

Adblock is off. Latest Beaver Builder, GP Premium, UABB and BBPP running.

Can you link me to the blog?

I’d have to give you admin access, how can I do that?

It looks like you’re using a category. By default, the Blog Page Header only works on the posts page (Settings > Reading).

However, you can change that with a filter: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/blog-page-header/#displaying-the-blog-page-header-elsewhere

Let me know if you need more info ๐Ÿ™‚
