Clare
Hi there
I want to add a small logo mark in the footer next to/near the logo mark but I can’t see the facility to do this. Any ideas?
ThanksJuly 29, 2021 at 5:21 pm #1876395Leo
StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
The copyright field actually accepts all HTML so you can just add the HTML with the
<img>
tag.Let me know if this helps 🙂

Thanks Leo. How do I add the relevant html for an image? (sorry I’m not technical). Normally I just upload an image so how does that image translate into html. Sorry if I’ve misunderstood.

StaffCustomer SupportHi Clare,
Here’s a demo video on how to do Leo’s suggestion:
https://share.getcloudapp.com/YEuOq5KxYou can see there that I’ve added an
<img src="" height="" width=""/>
on the copyright field.You can play around with width and height for the sizing. The src is the path pointing to the logo you want to add in. 😀

I’ve done it, thanks!

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
that video is no longer available.
The simplest solution would be to build the footer using a Block Element:

Can you simply give me an CSS code so that i would put it in the Additional CSS area.
I want to put my website logo at the Bottom above the Footer widgets but my copyright must be at the end of my website.
i did tried doing so using the image of my logo in the Footer bar, but then it made it look worse
as the Copyright came on the right side of logo, and image alignment options werent working eitheri also tried the 1st Footer widget but then it made my logo tiny as possible
can you not add that option to put logo at the footer in the next update

seriously
Now tell me what happened to the Block type https://ibb.co/M2QzkfQ
where its gone,
1st of all no option to set logo under footer 2nd of all that option suppose to work is no longer there.
what kind of full customization control have you given us, if it cant even do the basics, oh yea now we have to learn CSS
if that was the case why GP even exist!February 5, 2023 at 4:41 am #2521961David
StaffCustomer SupportDid you check the documentation and its accompanying video in the doc i provided above ? See here:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/block-element-site-footer/
TLDR: the Element Type is found in the editor sidebar settings for the Element.
For the Logo either use an Image Block, or the core Site Logo Block.Let us know if you need further assistance.
