Can we show featured posts using GP 2.0?

Can we show selected posts as featured on a homepage in a grid (like 3-4 posts) using content templates from version 2.0 without using WP Show Posts?

Hi there,
Unfortunately that's not possible.
The content templates feature only apply to theme templates - It doesn't create queries, loops or any of the HTML required to create a post list.
The option was never intended for that and will not work as a replacement for WPSP.
Ok, I think in future updates we will get to see the WPSP integration as well like GP and GB integration.
