Can not get rid of "fontawesome-webfont.woff2"

Hi guys,
I've followed all the posts on here, installed the code snippet plugin, pasted the php code as instructed but can't get rid of the annoying fontawesome-webfont.
Can I have step-be-step instructions that work?
Here's the culprit (go down to file requests and sort by size):

Edit! I always empty the server and browser caches before I run the page on pingdom.com

You can see that Elementor is calling it: https://s26.postimg.org/m09qu7uix/fontawesome-webfont.png
Their support should be able to point you to the right direction.

Interesting fact ... if you google "elementor remove fontawesome ...." you'll get many Generatepress links as the top search result.
That says a lot about how popular Generatepress has become. :)
