Can not change the text color for the "Home" tab on my top navigation menu?

Update: It's working now, please disregard my question below!

On my top navigation menu, I have a "Home" tab in front of the "Mind" tab. It is clickable as well.
I have set the text color to #ff33cc, and background to white for my top navigation menu.
However, the "Home" tab's color can not be changed from "white" to any other color, no matter what color I change it to.
Is there a glitch somewhere causing that?
