Can I use the Fusion Builder with Generate Press?

I'm switching my site from Avada to Generate Press but since many of the elements on my site were created with Avada's Fusion Builder, I was wondering if it works to use GP and this builder? On my staging site it appears to work OK but wondering if the lightweightedness I'm hoping GP will give me will be lost if I stick with Fusion Builder. AT the same time, a lot of work to re-do many of the elements on previous posts.

We can't really comment on the quality of other plugins unfortunately.
GP will work with any well-coded plugins that are built to work with WordPress themes.
Our usual recommendation for page builder is Beaver Builder as they have better support than other choices from our understanding.
