can I use an image slider in my homepage header?

I am using the Catalyst theme and wondered if I can replace the current background image with a slider header? I am not quite sure how to do that and looking for directions.

Hi , you can use a Slider plugin and you can add your Shortcode inside in the header element or you can create a hook .
