[Resolved] Can I get deleted sections of the installed GP Sample site back?

Hi, I am using the MyPet Template. I have deleted the section showing 3 blogs on the Front (Home) page that was originally there, and the photo section above the footer.

Is there an easy way to get those back without starting over from scratch (re-installing the template)? Unfortunately, I didn’t save them as reusable blocks. I have already done a lot of work customizing and don’t want to restart from scratch. Can I for example install the original template in a subfolder and copy and paste those sections into my customized version?

Hi Mel,

Unfortunately, you can’t get those sections back unless you have a backup.

Your idea is good.

You can create a test or staging site and import the template there. Then, just copy and paste specific sections.

Yes, it worked, I installed the original template site in another subdirectory.
Then just copied and pasted specific sections.
Amazing, saves a lot of work.
