I created a page hero in our staging site. I am wondering if I can export the element to import to our live site.

Elements are a Custom Post type. So in Dashboard > Tools, there is the option to Export them. But its ALL of them or nothing…

My workaround – I deleted all the other elements since they were just duplicates of what I have on our live site. Then did the export/import.

Sorry I marked this closed. I ran into a strange problem. The element imported correctly and looks exactly as designed in the editor on the staging site. It has four containers. However, on the live site, only Container 2&3 display. Container 1 and Container 4 aren’t even being rendered.
I found a clue. On staging, I had it set to display on Front Page. I wanted to test on a page other than the front page on our live site. So I changed the Location and set it to a specific page. This appears to be the common factor because I changed it to a specific page on the Staging site and it has the same behavior, Container 1 and 4 aren’t being rendered.
Is it possible to see this ?
Sure. I can give you temporary login. I added to private information. The element I am troubleshooting is named Front Page Hero
If you select the first Container Block, check its Layout > REMOVE CONTAINER CONDITION.
The first one is set to No Featured ImageOk that fixes the 1st container, which has the legacy layout system.
Any thoughts on the 4th which doesn’t have that condition option?
so, that probably does have a condition set…
but that container block has been converted to the new GB 1.7 container and that option is missing, until GPP 2.3 ( which just released in alpha ) is installed.
For now, could you rebuild that Container ?Yes, I rebuilt it. I don’t understand the logic of why those settings/differences would work on front page, but not regular pages. But it is ok now and working. Thank you.
