Buttons are completely black after automatic updates.

To whom this may concern,
After automatic updates some of the buttons within our Generate Press theme are now completely black.
I switched to another theme to test & the same buttons are grey & the text is readable.
I then updated plugins & I switched back to our Generate Press theme & the buttons are still completely black.
The buttons that are appearing completely black are the same that have required custom CSS code for. I am not a web developer so if you are able to, Would you please supply the necessary instructions & code? So the buttons are the same 'green' & match the other buttons on our website.
Also, is there a way to prevent automatic updates from changing our themes appearance?

I'm not sure I see what's occurring. Can you link us to some pages where this issue is occurring? So we could observe and get an idea on what's happening.
