Is there a way to create button with a slider effect that moves to content below on the same page something like the Zerif Lite theme buttons.

something like jquery smooth scroll pluggin? is it compatible with GP and the current version of wordpress.

or do you suggest any other pluggin

my aim is to create a button on the home page header ( image area) that will enable a smooth scroll to content below the page..
