[Resolved] Button loses color setting with Duplicate Post

a strange problem, have you encountered this?

I created a blog post with buttons. Then I duplicate the post with the Plugin Duplicate post, the buttons loose their color setting. All other settings are taken over. Any idea why that happens?

yes, but it loses only the colors of the button, i.e. the text color is taken over. Hm?

It looks like the duplicator doesn’t handle the variations well, the background color was set to var(--global-color-11), but during the duplicating process, the color changes to var(u002du002dglobal-color-11) which is an invalid value.

You’ll have to manually assign the button color once the new page is duplicated, or you can try copying all content from the original post and pasting it into a new page, here’s a video for your reference.

sorry, I was obviously not clear enough. All good, we duplicated the post in the first place and that did not work with the button, so I suggested the other two solutions like you did. So I consider it solved, the bug is obviously in the Duplicate post Plugin.
