A button function for links in the Sites + Posts menue will be great.
Especially on mobile devices Buttons look smarter.
The Buttons schould also be responsive with a max. width. of 50%
The standard menue / navigationspoints will also look great with button look and feel.
Or do you have advice for an absolute html + programming novice?
There's a built in .button class:
<a href="https://generatepress.com" class="button">GP</a>
There's also a lot of CSS out there for more styles: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/buttons-2/
Hope this helps :)
Please don´t laugh, my technical knowledge is really about on par with a blade of grass. :)
Where can i find the CSS. ??
Hermann
P.S: Is it global for all projects with GP or like a short code only on a single site?
You can add the additional CSS for styling the buttons using the method this page: https://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/adding-css/ :)
Thanks, Bishop :)
That CSS will be global if you add it through a plugin like Simple CSS.
You also might like to checkout this button plugin - both free and commercial versions available...
