Button Container - Translated vs Original
5 replies · Started by Matthias on June 29, 2022
Hi there,
i just translated my site.
On one page i have a container with a grid containing buttons.
As the translation is way shorter this looks... different now...
So far i couldn't figure out how to make them both look alike.
In general i want a grid containing 3 clickable/hoverable elements that makes you jump to different sections of the page - and those aligned nicely. If you see the original vs the translation (english) you probably know what i mean.
Translation (which is main language of the site) is linked - translation switcher is in the main menu at the end.
edit - i use wpml - so changes should be made on the original (de) - not the translation (en) - one solution to fit both.
Hi there,
that URL you provided is a private IP address ( 192.168 ) which we cannot access. Can you send a link that we can view ?
hi,
sorry - my mistake - copied from the wrong tab.
It should be a working link now.
Hi Matthias,
Do you have GenerateBlock Pro? If so, you can use the clickable container feature.
If not, I would still recommend using containers instead of buttons.
So the same layout can be achieved using Grid block with 3 containers, each of them can be 33.3% in width.
They should be the same height by default.
The hover effect can be added via GB pro or we can provide some custom CSS after the new structure is built.
Let me know!
thx.
Container is a good idea - i was able to find the rest in here by myself. Sometimes solutions are so simple you dont see them.
Glad it works :)
