Building Complete Child Themes using Generate Press

I am building out a series of themes with different looks, styles and structure for my user to pick from. I am familiar with GeneratePress and build out a child theme (copying over the .php files I and customizing).

My questions is, can I make a complete child theme with all the hooks, elements, headers etc. such that when the theme is switched that is all included? I do have Beaver Builder/Themer and was going to use that with GP but if I can build it all using GP (Elements/Hooks) then I would use just GP. I know I can export/import GP settings but I would like the user to go to Appearance=>Themes and select a new child theme.

Also, I will be using GP, GP Blocks with Gutenberg

Thanks!

Hi there,

I think this has come up before but not possible as the cusotmizer options and content are saved in the WordPress database rather than child theme.

The closest solution would be to use multiple staging sites.
