Build my website with template as starting point - child theme?

Hi there,
So, I am kinda confused. Basically I builded my website (from scratch) with GP pro and GB pro, but I used a template as a starting point. I think I deleted almost every block of the template, and made it myself.
I did not do any coding. Just lots of edits in customizer and GB editor.
I did not use a child theme.
Do I risk losing my website when there are updates? Do I need to take some sort of action to ensure that my website will not crash?

Hi Bob,
You would only need a child theme if you are modifying the parent theme's core template files.
Looking at your description above, you do not need a child theme.
