Bug: linked to YouTube
5 replies · Started by John on February 27, 2023
Hello Support,
This problem will not go away.
I am created blocks. In a block is a term,
i.e. Communication.
Imbedded in those terms is a link to
another page on the site. Straightforward.
For some very strange reason some of the links,
after the page has been saved, redirect to a
YouTube video on YouTube.
The problem comes and goes, then comes and goes.
Over the weekend I did experiment with imbedding
links to videos on YouTube, but quickly became
confused and stopped trying, nor is it that important
anyway.
Please go to

and see what you can figure out. As a guest you only
have access to the topic Persuasion on: Germany ...
United States ... Germany:USA.
Everything else if open to the public.
Thanks !
John
Hi there,
could you share a video or screenshot of the issue ? As i am having trouble finding it :)
Hi Dave,
The problem appears to have disappeared.
Although, I am still skeptical.
When you go to my website and click on
different links you'll see the YouTube
symbol appear in your browser's address
line. That's odd.

I'm not seeing that:

The theme cannot cause an issue like this so if you are still having the issue then please go through some debugging tests.
It could also be a browser extension issue as well but I've never heard of this before.
That was fast, Leo. Thank you.
True. I don't see the problem either
when I call up my site on Chrome.
The problem is when I use Safari.
Maybe it's specific to Safari.
Ok, this is good. I suspect whatever
the problem was, it's solved.

While I have your attention, however,
is there a way to make the blocks oval-like
instead of square?

Thanks !

No problem :)
A new topic for the separate question would be the best.
Thanks!
