[Support request] Bug in cusomizer with generatepress and gutenberg

Hi,

I have a problem with generatepress and gutenberg in the customizer. See video.
Everything the latest version. All plugins deactivated.

Is this a known issue? See video

Hi there,

the Gutenberg plugin is under constant development, its effectively always in Beta ( or more likely alpha ). Its there for developers to test experimental features that may make it into WordPress core in the future. As it is experimental it comes with lots of bugs. And we therefore recommend that no one uses it on a live site, as it will break more things then it improves.

As a note: All of our future proof testing is performed on Beta versions of WordPress not using that plugin.

You are right. We never use it on new sites. This one is on a older site and we thought that it was necessary. Nevermind.

No worries. I really wish WordPress would put that plugin behind a lock and key. I recently discovered that for some WordPress.com subscribers, they automatically install the plugin ! Yeesh.
