Hi there, I found a bug in elements editor.
What: When I switch device view from Desktop to Mobile or Tablet, and then I switch back to desktop, my screen gets mostly blocked by the “Display Rules”.
Display Rules blocking a puppy image
Where: I’ve tried this on two of my local websites. One had some other third party plugins, and the other was a completely blank website except for the three things I installed for GeneratePress.
– GeneratePress Premium 2.1.2
– GeneratePress 3.1.3
– GenerateBlocks 1.4.2Why: It’s very annoying to have to publish, and then refresh everytime I need to switch back to desktop development.
Thank you for reading.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi there,
This is actually a core WordPress bug: https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/55053
They’ve pushed it to be fixed in 5.9.2 (unfortunately).

I can be patient. It’s annoying to work with, but the important thing is that when I hand off the site to my client, they probably won’t have to deal with this bug.
Thanks!

I am using the latest WP core and am experiencing the display rules blocking the edit area above it… Is there a setting in GenerateBlock elements to keep it from doing this…? I created a screen recording of what’s happening so if it would be helpful to see it, let me know where to post it…
Thank you…!

StaffCustomer SupportHi OldDood,
It’s a known WP bug, we can’t really do anything but waiting for WP to fix this bug.
Thanks for your understanding!
