BuddyPress Activity Page

I am trying to add a sidebar to the BuddyPress activity page (which also happens to be the homepage of my site). When I edit the page and click the "Content/Sidebar" option. It does nothing even though there are active widgets setup for that section. When I enable "Content/Sidebar" for other pages, it works.

That's what I've tried. I selected the "Content/Sidebar" option.
