Browser TAB - title doesn't display

I have a situation where only the “home” page of the site doesn’t display the page title in the browser TAB.
When it’s loading it’s OK – the real title is displayed. But when finishes loading then the following text shows up: Homepage Title
The real title is gone.
Other subpages are OK.
Hi there,
There isn't a title Home in the page you linked because it's set as the blog page.
No page title blog is added by default.
You can try something like this to add it in: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/add-page-title-to-blog-page/#post-24318
I made the change. Now this page is linked to a page (not a blog). And the problem still exists. There is no title in the browser TAB.
Click on the subpage and you will see that the title in browser TAB is displayed correctly.
You mean like it's displaying Homepage Title?
Can you try disabling all plugins to eliminate plugin conflict first?
I'm not able to duplicate this on this site and our demo site: http://demo.generatepress.com/
Exactly. it's displaying "Homepage Title" instead of the real page title.
I did....this is the plugin that makes the problem: https://gtm4wp.com/ Hmm...I don't understand. This plugin just inserts the TAG Manager code.
Yup it's quite possible that type of plugin can cause this.
You can use GP hooks to insert GTM code though: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/google-tag-manager-gtm/#post-486806
