Box or strechted design?

Hi,

Currently, I do a little redesign of our current website.

A basic question is, should I go for stretched or boxed.
I've read a lot about it, but I can't make a decision.

I'm only building this site and I don't have the experience with what's the common practice today.
Can you give an advise? And also some information how I should configure the containers.

Good to know is that most users are mobile.

Hi there,

yeah its really down to personal preference.

My personal approach is to go with Full Width Pages for landing pages. And i would suggest setting the Content Container to Full Width instead of forcing a Block to Full width.

But for Blog Posts and other long text pages i would keep the boxed setting.

For sizing i rarely default from the Themes defaults ie. Container Width: 1200px and 40px Padding.
