Bounce rate increased by 60%

As soon as I changed my theme to Generate press my site increased it's bounce rate by 60+%!!!!!
How is this even possible?
Hi there,
GP conforms to WP standards, it doesn't interfere with permalinks or how a site would be crawled. So there is no explainable reason as to why changing the theme would effect the bounce rate, unless the old theme was adding Custom Post Type / Content that as pertinent to the sites behaviour.
Does the site look any different in way of content with GP installed in comparison to the old theme ?
Not at all, and I'm completely baffled as to why this would happen.
Can you share a link to your site - happy to take a look - not sure what for but something may jump out in the dev tools.
