I am very new to this. Just bought GP Premium. I think I downloaded it to my MacBook. I try to add add-ons, but since I just have the first folder, am clueless as what to do next. Please be very specific in your answer or I won’t understand. Sorry for so basic an issue.

    Hi there,

You need to right click the download link and “Download Linked File As..”.

Then upload gp_premium.zip as a plugin.

    More details here: http://www.generatepress.com/knowledgebase/install-activate-addons/

Let me know if this helps or not πŸ™‚

Tom, I am still in deep trouble. On my Mac,I can see the downloads for GP Premium, but nothing is in zip format so the add plugin doesn’t work. I tried a choice of “compress” the file, but the plugin install was not successful. I need to get this working today or get a refund and try something else. I am very inexperienced in computer matters, but chose WP and your plugins so I could get my website up and running. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Cheryl

    Hi Cheryl,

You actually have GP Premium installed and activated already – you did it right πŸ™‚

Now all you have to do is go to “Appearance > GeneratePress” and enable the addons you wish to have active on your site.

    Thanks!
