I experience a problem with the “bottom margin” settings on H1 title style. The setting seems to do nothing when changed.
Other title styles (H2, H3,…) are working correctly.
Any thoughts on that issue ?
Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi there,

Your page is under coming soon page so I can’t see the issue.

Can you unlock it for now and guide me to a <h1> where I can see the issue?

    Let me know ๐Ÿ™‚

I can’t unlock it but you can log in using the following credentials :

Then you can go to the following page : https://www.santea-inf.fr/csi/
For information, the bottom margin for <h1> is set to 40px but there’s no such margin between the title and the <h2> heading just below.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi there,

have you updated to GeneratePress (theme) 2.4?

I upgraded the theme to version 2.4 this morning but the problem is still present.

Actually, the <h1> margin-bottom works on <h1> tags inserted as html code on the page but does’t work on page title (which is, as far as I know, also made of <h1>).

I just want to be able to set a bottom margin just under the page title. What is the proper way to do it ?

Ah yes – the content title doesn’t have margin, currently. It uses the content separator option in “Customize > Layout > Container”.

I’m not actually seeing an H1 on that page at the moment? Not sure if you’ve changed something.

    Hi Tom,
The “content separator option” was the missing piece in my understanding.
    Thanks for your help.
