Hello,
I set up the masonry of my blog to show:
– New Post – Masonry Most Recent Width – Large
– Old post – Masonry Block Width – Small.Until today everything was good: I have had a large post and below 3 small posts and succesively.
The problem is that today, I added a new post and I don´t know why the masonry of the blog changed. If I select “Masonry Block Width – Small”, the small post appear aligned to left one by one. I don´t understand where is the problem and why its changed. For the moment I keep the masonry as “large” but I prefer when the small size.
Can you help me please? Thanks by advance.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi there,
What version of Blog/GP Premium are you using?
Can you link me to the page?
Thanks!

I am seeing something similar. I am using 1.2.3 I had mine set to most recent post>medium and the rest of the posts>small. Now, when masonary is enabled, all blog excerpt boxes are the same size, I have two columns and the load more text message is missing. The blog also doesn’t load anymore excerpts beyond the first 10. I have been using WP 4.0.1 with no problems till today (at least when I noticed it).

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi Jason,
Are you using GP 1.2.3?
If so, try updating – we’re on version 1.2.7 now.
Let me know 🙂

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi Jason,
Looking at your site, I’m seeing the most recent post is set to medium, and the others are small – looks good to me?
Maybe try clearing your browser cache?

HI tom,
Many thanks to answer. I am using the version of Blog/GP Premium that I download. Maybe I ignore that there is a way to update it…
The page is http://www.pedalogia.com/actualidad/blog/
For the moment, you will see that all the post are in Large as in small or medium size it appears wrong as I have only one column.
Regards,
Catherine

Tom,
Thanks for the reply. I cleared the cache in my browser, but nothing changed. That was Firefox. I tried Chrome, but am still seeing the same problem. Can I send you a screenshot?
Jason

Lead DeveloperLead Developer@Pisarski – go to “Themes” in your Dashboard and it should tell you that GP has an update. From a quick glance, it almost looks like you have your Masonry option set to display all items as large?
@Jason – sure, you can send it to support@generatepress.com. It’s weird because your site looks great in Firefox and Chrome for me – not seeing any issues at all.February 16, 2015 at 1:07 am #75305Pisarski Catherine
Dear Tom,
I updated the theme but I still have the same problem. Sorry to answer late.
Hope your answer.
Thanks!

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperCan you take a look at what your masonry block width is set to in the Customizer? It looks like they’re set to large to me.

Tom,
I set it as large because if I set it as small I have only one column on the left with all small posts one below other, and its looks bad.
Before the problem, I was setting it as one large post (the latest one) and below small post and I was having 1 large post and below 3 columns (Small Post 1 next to Small post 2 next to Small post 3). I don´t touch nothing which could explain why the setting of the masonry changed.
Regards.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperCan you set it back to the way it was so I can take a look at why it’s not functioning correctly? I can’t debug it without seeing the issue.
Let me know 🙂
