Blog with masonry grid - spacing uneven - too big

There is uneven spacing between articles in my blog layout. First two posts appear fine, then there's a massive gap after the following pairs of posts. I've looked at the Inspector but I can't figure out what is causing the excessive margins and/or padding.
I'm using GP Premium Blog Module
2 columns
Masonry Grid
Content layout: separate containers
Content padding: 0 40px 0 40px
I have some custom css which is not intended to affect the blog spacing... I have tried removing the custom css (just in case) and it makes no difference.
I've provided the URL to the News & Projects page and have previously provided a login. Please advise

Any chance you can disable all plugins except GP Premium for us to take a look?

Good point. It's a live site, so disabling plugins is tricky, but I've checked the staging server which is currently set up differently and the spacing is working fine. So I'll compare the plugins and get back to you.
