Blog Title Color in Query Loop Block
9 replies · Started by Myles on January 28, 2023
I created a Query Loop block that pulls posts from a particular category.
Everything is working fine; however, the blog titles in the blog are Red when they are hovered over. No where in my color settings do I have red as a link hover color.
Where could it be coming from and how do I adjust this?
FYI, I started creating my site using one of the existing site library themes. Not sure if there is custom coding that is explaining the red hover color.
Hi Myles,
Can you link us to your blog?
Hi Ying,
Here is the staging site: https://wordpress-688581-2273186.cloudwaysapps.com/reviews/guns/
If you hover over any of the blog titles, you'll see what I mean. Thanks.
There's a link hover color set for the headline block:

You can change the link hover color to the color you want.
Thanks, Ying.
I did not set that colo, and cannot find where that color has been set.
Can you please advise?
Can you check the headline link hover color for that headline in the query loop block?

Hi Leo,
I checked, and there are no special colors set. Definitely nothing with red, that's for sure.
That's super strange - the code is simply showing the #df1a17 is coming from the headline block color settings.
Looks like this is a staging site - any chance you can provide the dashboard login for us to take a quick look?
Please disable all plugins except for GenerateBlocks and GP Premium if possible.
Thanks!
Hi there, I figured it out. It was controlled by the post title color rather than the headline block.
Glad to hear.
